A recall has been announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in regards to trucks that utilize Detroit Diesel. These vehicles have potential fuel system problems. The recall affects 110,000 of these trucks that were produced between January 2006 and February 2012.

The engine models on these trucks are outfitted with DD13, DD15, or DD 16. Fuel leaking may be caused in these engines due to engine sensitivity during upkeep. These leaks could potentially start a fire, and could increase the likelihood of becoming involved in an accident on the roadway.

Owners of the affected trucks will be able to have the problem fixed for free at any facility that supports Detroit Diesel engine repairs.
