Driving on New Year's Eve

Posted by Genie Wood on Wed, Dec 30, 2009 @ 03:34 AM

New Year's Eve is a time when many people welcome in the new year with a few drinks.  Because so many people are drinking - and potentially driving - at the same time all across the country, New Year's Eve is one of the most dangerous times to be driving.

If possible, avoid driving during New Year's Eve.  If you cannot avoid it, be especially vigilent and careful.  Avoid drivers who appear intoxicated, and alert police to drunk drivers.
