A recent report that was released indicated that truck drivers that received an adequate amount of sleep had several benefits. One of the surprising benefits is that truck drivers that got more sleep tended to eat healthier and less in the following days.
The study looked at over 542 male truck drivers who were on average 49 years-of-age. Truckers that received more sleep tended to have a healthier eating habit reportedly eating more fruits, vegetables, and not drinking as much soda.
