Beginning on October 1, 2012, the TBS Factoring Service Trade School Scholarship will begin receiving applications for potential recipients.
The scholarship program is being funded by TBS Factoring Service, and is intended to help a former truck driver who is unable to continue driving because of medical reasons pursue opportunities in trade school to train for a new line of work.
The scholarship program is being run by the St. Christopher Truckers Development & Relief Fund (SCF), which oversees the funds and distributes them where appropriate. Those who are interested can apply to the scholarship from October 1- November 15, and the recipient will be announced sometime in December.
